1. Network Engineer

网络工程师

Responsibilities:

A Network Engineer position on the Network Support team is responsible for daily support of a large mult-datacenter network as well as a global corporate network with dozens of locations.

24x7 on-call support is required one week out of five. A majority of the daily job will be resolving network service tickets along with troubleshooting performance issues, maintaining and monitoring network equipment.

Additional responsibilities may include attending project meetings, managing network capacity, deploying equipment, implementing process improvements, administering network management systems.

Job Requirements:

•3+ years of experience with Cisco based networks, including:Cisco L3/L2 switches & routers from 2600 to 6500 series.

•2+ years of BGP & OSPF routing in high-capacity environment.

•Troubleshooting / finding root cause in network issues.

•In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, packet capture and analysis.

•Excellent communication and documentation skills.

•Knowledge of Windows, Oracle, Unix/FreeBSD, Open-Source NMS tools.

•The candidate must know how to work with remote team as an individual contributor and must be self-starter. Excellent English and Mandarin skills.

2.  Principal Engineer – Build & Release

Primary Job Responsbilities:

·         Very strong technical leadership skills to lead large scale initiatives implemented by cross-functional teams that meet market needs with respect to functionality, performance,scalability, reliability, realistic implementation schedules, and adherence to development goals, principles and recognized industry standards.

·         Take ownership of the quality and usability of the applications and infrastructure you produce.

·         Cross team coordination with Product managers, Project managers, Engineers, QA, NOC, OPS and other teams to deploy innovative solutions to meet site stability and performance and developer productivity needs.

·         Leading teams of software engineers to build our next-gen build and release tools

·         Design, develop and support products throughout all phases of the life cycle

·         Lead development initiatives, recommend improvements, mentor and guide developers in coding and design methodology

·         Conceptualizing, coding, deploying, and iterating on current and next generation solutions

·         Work well independently and in multi-group cross-discipline environments

·         Flexible approach to analyzing technical issues and clearly communicating recommendations/solutions

·         Scoping engineering effort, implementation, and site launch of new projects.

·         Support site rollouts and available for on-call support to resolve site issues to eBay Marketplace needs

Job Requirements:

·          Baschelor's Degree and 10+ years of years professional related experience or Master's Degree and 8+ years or Doctorate and 6+ years.

·          Strong Object Orientied design methodology and experience using Java, XSLT, JSP, JDBC

·          Experience with servlets, JMS and EJBs

·          Experience with Object-oriented JavaScript, XML, XSL, HTML, and CSS

·          Experience with bug management and source control systems including the understanding of merge, build and release paradigms within a software development organization

·          Experience with Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP is required

·          Experience with Maven, SVN, Hudson and other open source tools is a required.

·          Experience with Perl and other scripting tools a plus Experience with Rational ClearCase and ClearQuest

·          Good verbal and written communication skills in English

·          Able to lead an engineering review / presentation with a audience of peers

·          BSEE, CS or other relevant technical degree required.

3. Data Modeler:

Responsibilities:

Data Architect / Data Modeler will help develop the enterprise data model and will work closely with Business System Analyst, Product Development and Business Intelligence groups to implement projects within the model. This individual will develop key aspects of the information architecture, including logical/physical data models, data flow diagrams and metadata strategy.

Data Architect / Data Modeler candidates must excel in communication, design and delivery of complex models in very large data systems. S/he must be familiar with the strategies, concepts, rationale, challenges, and otherwise best practices of data modeling in a large environment. Relevant experience must include complex data modeling, data analysis, Teradata optimization and tuning, SQL programming, knowledge of Internet concepts, and familiarity with database applications and database engineering in general. The Enterprise Data Architecture team at eBay is the guardian of its data models and data standards.  As a team member, the data modeler will be doing the modeling for the most complex projects and providing oversight and guidance on other projects.  At various times, s/he will also be tasked to write standards, processes or conduct in-depth data analysis. Excellent oral and written English skills are required.

Job Requirements

-          8+ years hands on data modeling experience in a very large scale data warehouse environment (Teradata preferred).

-          Clear understanding of Logical Data modeling concepts and goals.

-          Very proficient using either PowerDesigner, Erwin or Embarcadero modeling tools.  

-          Solid understanding of metadata management best practices (experience implementing or operating a metadata repository is highly desired)

-          Previous Experience with end to end data warehouse design highly desirable (Data Modeling to ETL to Data Design to BI).

-          Excellent, proven written and verbal communication skills required.

-          Excellent, collaboration, influence and leadership skills required.

Basic Qualifications

-          BSCS or relevant technical degree

-          8+ years experience doing complex data modeling in a large scale data warehousing environment. Extensive knowledge and experience with large scale database systems (Teradata preferred), including optimization and performance tuning. Experience in metadata management and SQL programming.

-          Excellent, proven written and verbal communication skills required.

-          Excellent, collaboration, influence and leadership skills required.

4. Business Solution Manager:

Primary Job Responsibilities:

· Work and communicate with business unit, project manager, analysts and other related teams closely to develop innovative and qualified deliverables that meet market needs in a timely manner.

· Lead the development of integrated, complex, automotive applications and functions to build up infrastructure for team.

· Assist manager to design applications and functions.

· Identify business requirement to deliver strategic analysis.

· Share release project management duties during parallel projects.

· Hand on experience to junior team members as mentor.

· Provide leadership, direction and decision making for problem resolution.

· Ability and credibility to deal at the senior levels internally and externally.

· Ability to work flexible hours.

Job Requirements:

· BS/BA degree required. Master degree is a plus.

· 8 years working experience including 5+ years experience in SAS programming and SQL language.

· Knowledge of statistics or data mining is a major plus.

· Experience in project management. PMP is a major plus.

· Experience in data modeling for analytical data mart is a plus.

· Good business mindset, the capability of understanding a business problem and thinking logically to find a solution.

· Familiar with MS Office software to present strategic analysis.

· Must be a good team player willing to support the whole team.

· Good communication skill internally and externally.

· Fluent English in both speaking and writing.

Basic Qualifications:

· Bachelor degree, computer science or equivalent education is a plus.

· Solid experience in SAS programming, for example, Base SAS and SAS Macro language.

· Familiar with Teradata SQL language.

· Strong team spirit.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skill in both Chinese and English.
